Just before the State Tournaments in the Fall and Spring we host a cookout at MeSA for all of our Classic teams. This is just another small way to thank our players and coaches for their dedication and hard work. It is a lot of fun to see all of the teams together and wish them Good Luck!! Details about the actual dates and times of each years cookout will be published on the web along with being announced to all of the Team Managers.
Each year we hold a Golf Outing to raise funds for MeSA (our soccer complex). Our last two events have been held at the Carolina Springs Golf Course. We appreciate the support of all our golfers and sponsors. Here are a few pictures from the 2003 event. A special thank you to our Tournament organizer, Ronnie Allen.
The 2003 Spring Carnival was held on Saturday, March 29th and Sunday, March 30th at the MeSA Complex. ALL SGU teams contribute to the Carnival with the donation of their time, enthusiasm and a Team Basket! Silent Auction team baskets are an essential part of the Carnival Fundraising efforts! A "team basket" is simply a collection of items based on a theme. Each team chooses a theme and builds a basket. In the past teams have created a variety of wonderful baskets including, but not limited to:
